Opportunity Corps Entrepreneurship Programs Announce 2023 Fellows

UNeTech Institute is pleased to announce the fellows accepted into the second year of Opportunity Corps: Women in STEAM and the first year of Opportunity Corps: Bell-Jewell, our ten-month programs to teach community members about entrepreneurship using both I-Corps inspired curriculum and mentorship.

Opportunity Corps: Women in STEAM, in its second year, is a partnership with Bio Nebraska, and offers women or femme-identifying people in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) fields the chance at a ten-month fellowship and $500 stipend for completion. Program leaders include Sasha Forsen, Jace Gatzemeyer, Jenny Pool, and Stephanie Kidd. Mentors for this program include: Agnes Lenagh, Amanda Wilson, Haley Haas, Itzel Lopez, and Shannon Lang.

Opportunity Corps: Women in STEAM is a joint venture between the UNeTech Institute and Bio Nebraska.

Opportunity Corps: Bell-Jewell, in its inaugural year, is a partnership with Nebraska Enterprise Fund and Collective Futures Design Lab, and offers Black and African American people with an interest in entrepreneurship the chance at a ten-month fellowship and $500 stipend for completion. Program leaders include Jamel Hamilton, Katherine MacHolmes, and the UNeTech staff. Mentors for this program include: Angel Starks, Keith Station, Kerron Stark, Shonna Dorsey, and Winsley Durand.
