Jace Gatzemeyer, PhD
Innovation Development Strategist
If your company needs support during its research phase in the incubator, Jace can assist with potential federal grant funding. These opportunities can allow for partnerships with the research facilities and the faculty at University Nebraska Omaha, University Nebraska Medical Center, and Metropolitan Community College.
Joe Runge, JD, MS
Joe Runge is the first person you’ll meet at UNeTech Institute. Joe leverages his relationships with the medical and startup communities to promote the great work we do and to coordinate our efforts with our invaluable partners. Joe works closely with university leaders to generate support for the joint partnership between UNMC and UNO that is UNeTech.
3D Modeling Technician
As 3D Modeling Technician, Noah serves as a technical collaborator to help invest-igators consider the technical hurdles of transitioning great ideas into vital products. He is a collaborative partner to consider production, regulatory, design and scalability from project inception. Noah works closely with a team of students from University of Nebraska, Metropolitan Community College, and institutions abroad to help advance inventor’s designs and prototypes towards commercialization.
Strategy & Ventures Manager
Lamonte works with you on your go-to-market strategy and helps you prepare to find your first customers and raise funds from investors. He helps lead the Maverick Technology Ventures Alliance– a team of undergraduate and graduate students from the University of Nebraska Omaha College of Business – as they complete market and competitive analysis reports, which provide the insight you will need to design and market your products.
Stephanie Kidd, PhD
Every business in our incubator will spend some time with the communications team and with our Communications Strategist. Stephanie is well-equipped to create a communications strategy for you and company that will help you determine how to move forward on your company website and social media. Her team will help you find your brand strategy and map out your marketing materials as your company takes shape.
Entrepreneur In Residence
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Stephen offers you a wealth of operational and financial expertise. When it comes time to partner with members of the community to find funding, Stephen is your financial guru with the knowledge to know what your next step will be. Your time with his team will empower you with details about Opportunity Zone funding, tax code and write offs, private investors, angel investors, and our partners at Proven Ventures.
Community Engagement Coordinator
Jennifer Pool should have been a camp counselor. But now, in her role as Community Engagement Coordinator she gets to act like one. Jennifer has worked and interacted with a wide variety of people and organizations in Omaha. She taps into that network of friends and connections to expand UNeTech’s community network as far as it will go. You can find Jennifer hosting booths at community events, attending conferences, and generally out and about in the Omaha and greater Nebraska community.
Projects Administrative Associate
Krystal is the Administrative Projects Administrator, working to build procedures and policies. With a proven track record in management and process improvement, Krystal Fox is the glue that holds UNeTech together. She will handle all your contracts and financial documents in the incubator, and connect you to other departments within UNMC that may assist you during your time
